HELLO
DUDES & DUDETTES
I was born in a middle-class Bengali Family and grew up in the small town of Eddumailaram on the outskirts of Hyderabad. It was a beautiful place and its unique and natural ecosystem budded in me an earthen sense of beauty and an appreciation of homeostasis in Nature. I Love Reading, especially, Fantasy, Science Fiction, History, and Anthropology. Watching anime and Series gave me a lot of perspective in general. Used to write a lot of poetry too. Did some guitar and singing. Played some football. & then got tired of the Bong-Stereotypes being slapped on me.
I was born with a flair for sketching and painting. Loved daydreaming. Fantasizing a Utopian world for a long time actually pushed me to pursue design later.
In my free time, I like to swim not only because it calms me down to the point of satisfying something very primal in me but also gives me a sense of form, flow and rhythm.
I m a fun loving guy. I m not very outgoing. I hate traveling. I love the indoors. My point as a designer is, if outdoors are so great why did mankind spent thousands of years trying to perfect indoors. But don't get me wrong, I can survive anywhere. Being an extrovert, helps me adapt. I love being around people.

Create Shit
That You Wish
Existed..
I like things that are beautiful in every way. I think ts time we move on from usability to pleasurability. Creativity is an emotional process for me. If I am not emotionally invested in the thing I am doing, I might as well not do it.
Da Vinci was longtime inspiration for me. For him the boundaries between disciplines blurred. He was a giver; that was all there' s to it. As far the design process is concerned I believe in dualism (or contrast if you will) in everything, not just size, shape, color, form and texture but also in the state of mind. A designer should have a very good understanding of the user's Psychology (Empathy) and at the same time a lack of inhibition and disregard for protocols while doing his job, if you know what I mean.
Design
Is a sexual
Endeavor..
At the end of the day, what are we doing?
We are playing with people's desire. Their desire for beauty, functionality, respect, love, and whatnot. If everyone was to turn a true Buddhist then Industrial design would have gone for a toss. Hence as primates, our sense of aesthetics and functionality is highly nature-derived. We should harness the rawest form of our sexual nature to understand and interpret design. The truest form of bio-mimicry not only in form and function but also materials. As far as the future of design is concerned, change in form and material should be able to do what a mechanism can.
Remember
Emotions
Not Data
We are born here in this world to do two things, learn & cope. I learned when I was a kid that I was cursed with a very weak memory when it comes to data, but a very strong one when it comes to emotions. I seldom forget how I had felt when I have seen someone in pain or euphoria in the past. And it often greatly shows in the work I do or the decisions I make. Don't get me wrong I believe in doing your homework well but this often enhances the qualitative character in my work rather than quantitative, and for an optimist like me it's been great so far.
